Item:Q13

Hey hey,

Should Item:Q13 be the same item now that its on a new host or a different one? I noticed you didn't update the Property:P1 value there? Is this a move (identifiers the same) or a recreation in a new location? Addshore (talk) 10:25, 11 May 2026 (UTC)

Another ping User:Harej, as the change of the URL at https://wikibase.world/w/index.php?title=Item:Q13&curid=21&diff=73323&oldid=73300 removing the still existing cloud instance has caused the auto recreation of the item Item:Q3914 with that cloud URL.

I imagine that the old item should probably remain referring to the old Wikibase, and the new one should be the new item?

The intention is to delete domains.wikibase.cloud and for internetdomains.wiki to entirely replace it. The wiki is being moved, not forked. Harej (talk) 14:38, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

I think the most important element is, will the concept IDs line up? and or be redirected? If not, I don't think we should model it as a move? Addshore (talk) 09:10, 15 May 2026 (UTC)

The new wiki was created by dumping the database of the old wiki and importing it into a new instance. The IDs are exactly the same and domains.wikibase.cloud will be deleted in about a month. Harej (talk) 15:55, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
