Project:Access roles

Access roles, also known within MediaWiki as user rights, described different escalated access privileges on this wiki.

Administrators

Administrators can protect (lock) and delete pages as well as block users from editing. Trusted users can be granted access on request to accomplish some task (like deleting spam).

Bots

Bot accounts can read/edit the wiki at faster speeds, and can be filtered out from recent changes. Bot flags are granted on request to trusted users (and their bot accounts).

Bureaucrats

Bureaucrats appoint new administrators, bots, and other bureaucrats.
